We are seeking a Senior Perception Software Engineer to join a small, fast moving team working to create advanced robot prototypes and products. For the right candidate, we offer an opportunity to help set the agenda and organize the development of perception-aided autonomy for our unusually mobile robots
The ideal candidate has experience leading and participating in hands-on robotics perception research and development, and is comfortable integrating results into motion planning and reactive control algorithms. Examples of excellent practical experience include data fusion for localization, object tracking, system calibration, model building and matching, and experience enabling robot navigation in the (complex) real world.
Our engineers write lots of software, conduct experiments, test robots on rough terrain in the rain and snow, communicate results to experts and laymen, operate with the team to pull off high-profile demonstrations, and develop innovative solutions to new problems every day.
