Office Manager

Boston Dynamics has built an amazing team of engineers, scientists, technicians and business professionals devoted to creating the most advanced dynamic robots in the world.  

We are growing very rapidly and now have a great opportunity for our first Office Manager to be the hub of company activities and operations at our new West Coast location in Mountain View, CA.

Day to day activities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day office operations
  • Manage reception desk activities, incoming calls, and visitors
  • Co-manage assigned vendor relations and facilities oversight
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of office equipment (e.g. printers, phone system, kitchen appliances)
  • Help coordinate office activities (events, company meetings, offsite meetings, catering)
  • Prepare/coordinate internal and external meetings as needed injecting as much fun and entertainment whenever possible
  • Arrange travel schedule and reservations
  • Manage reimbursements and expenses
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate various meetings, functions, and events
  • Take pride in office appearance (managing upkeep of conference rooms, kitchen, front desk area, common areas, etc…)

  • Excellent organizational skills.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborative team player
  • Project coordination experience
  • Self-starter that can work independently with little oversight
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and G Suite
